On October 11 Chinese game developers will get tips from the game developing community at the Game Developers Conference in China and electronics enthusiasts will be able to see the latest products from electronics manufacturers at the Hong Kong Electronics Fair.

The 2009 Game Developers Conference (GDC) China is the second GDC to be held in Asia. The event aims to heighten the awareness of gaming within China and to assist those in the industry form local and global ties with the game development community. The event features top-quality content from both Chinese and international games makers, with speakers from Dolby Australia; Dice, EA, Concept Art House, Sony Computer Entertainment America, Ubisoft, ACTIVISION China and Blizzard Entertainment. The Independent Games Festival will be held in China for the first time under the banner of the GDC China.
