TEDWomen: Reshaping the future

TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design) is a non-profit organization that aims to spread ideas in the interests of global knowledge and inspiration through a series of global events. The inaugural TEDWomen event is co-produced with The Paley Center for Media and investigates how women are innovating, thinking and championing ideas to make the world a better place.
LeWeb is the biggest internet event in the European calendar, bringing together speakers, entrepreneurs, investors, the media, and technology buffs to discuss a "new web." Approximately 2,400 participants from 50 countries attended the sixth edition of LeWeb in Paris in 2009 and in 2010 industry luminaries including Carlos Ghosn, Marissa Mayer, Dennis Crowley, Alexander Tamas, Sebastien de Halleux, and Michael Arrington will be on stage to lead discussions about this year's theme, Platforms.
