During the week of October 4 electronics makers will demo the latest new technology and cutting-edge products at the Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies (CEATEC) in Japan. In London, key trends in the mobile sector will be discussed at Next Generation Mobile Devices.

The Combined Exhibition of Advanced Technologies (more commonly referred to as CEATEC) is a cutting-edge IT and electronics trade show that features new technologies from participating electronics makers. The exhibition is a place for companies to reveal their latest products and services and to demonstrate them in use. Exhibitors showing finished products and services at the event are divided into two categories, one pertaining to the business sector, the other to individuals and general consumers. The accompanying CEATEC conference provides industry members with a forum to discuss information technology advancements and key developments within the IT & electronics sector.
Next Generation Mobile Devices 2010
Next Generation Mobile Devices is a two-day event that pinpoints key trends and strategic priorities in the mobile broadband devices industry. Keynote speakers from Vodafone, T-Mobile, Orange, Virgin Mobile, Gartner, Microsoft, GMSA, and Telefonica will investigate topics such as "Where is the mobile internet heading?" "Opening the software platform - tweeting with the Facebook generation" and "Delivering a quality end-user experience."

Highlights of the 2010 HKTCD include a dedicated showcase of top products from leading brands in the "Hall of Fame," innovative technologies, prototypes and ideas for the future displayed in the "Technology Exchange Zone" and specialized Electronics seminars presented by key industry experts. ElectronicAsia 2010, a fair for electronic components, electronics production and display technologies will run concurrently to the event.
