Weekly tech agenda: CEDIA London, Webby Awards, E3

The week of June 14, home cinema enthusiasts and audiophiles will be queuing up at the CEDIA Expo to see the latest products being introduced in the residential custom installation industry. In the USA the best of the web will be highlighted at the Webby Awards in New York and gamers will be keeping their eyes peeled for new product and software releases at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3).

The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences will be handing out Webby Awards to websites, interactive advertisers, online film and video creators, and mobile websites that excel in the creation and delivery of content web-based content and media during the awards ceremony on June 14. This year Foursquare, Twitter, Tumblr, Hulu, and Mashable are just a few of the companies that have been awarded the "internet's highest honor" and will receive their award at the Webby Awards ceremony in New York.

OFFF International Festival for the Post Digital Creation Culture

The festival's eventful three-day calendar includes a design conference, a multimedia trade fair, a digital animation program, performances, talks, workshops for artists, and most of all aims to celebrate all kinds of visual culture.

Imagine Cup Worldwide Finals

The Imagine Cup is the world's number-one student technology competition. The event attracts around 300,000 students each year from around the world in the pursuit of innovative technology and fresh new ideas. The Imagine Cup challenge spans a one-year period and consists of local, regional and online contests. China International Consumer Electronics Show

The China International Consumer Electronics Show (SINOCES) is the Asian leg of CES. Like the CES, SINOCES welcomes international exhibitors to showcase and unveil their newest consumer electronics product releases. "Convergence & Innovation" is the theme for this year's show.
