While Mobile World Congress puts the emphasis on consumer devices, CTIA is all about the technologies that power them, including Location Based Services (LBS), Smart Energy, Wireless Health, Intelligent Transportation, Cloud Computing and Mobile Money.

60th Hannover Messe: Smart Efficiency

"Smart Efficiency" is the motto for the 60th edition of Hannover Messe. The annual event is the world's biggest industrial fair and is home to the latest industrial technology innovations. In 2011 Hannover Messe is made up of 13 different trade fairs, each focused on a different area of industrial technology. More than 4,500 innovations will be on show spanning the fields of energy, mobility and automation. In addition to the large showcase of new materials, industry developments and emerging trends at the Hannover Messe, there will be a strong emphasis on education and careers. CeBIT, now the world's biggest high-tech fair, was once just a display category within the Hannover Messe.
