YouTube gaming charts: Warcraft Cataclysm's new screen

Excitement mounts over the official release of the December 7
Cataclysm expansion for
World of Warcraft, and
WoW-related material occupies the YouTube gaming chart's top 3 for the week ending November 3.

As part of the expansion, WoW's familiar login screen will be changed to display Deathwing the Destroyer, a gigantine dragon that has perched atop the entrance to Azeroth's fallen capital, Stormwind City.

That new screen occupies both first and seventh position in this week's chart. Second is a World of Warcraft character imitating choreography from Lady Gaga's hit "Poker Face," and third a video capture of Deathwing on the roam during the Cataclysm beta test.

Blizzard's other big game right now is StarCraft 2. This week, expert player Husky interviews another adept, Psy, and coaches hyperactive family man and YouTube celeb Shay Carl through his first round.

TV series The Jersey Shore is spoofed in the style of an early Final Fantasy game, and fans of Halo: Reach watch a trailer for new multiplayer map due on November 30.

There's a trick to swiping valuable items from the Silver Rush store in Fallout: New Vegas, and in tenth place we see the Nintendo 3DS's 3D screen at a hands-on preview event.
