Get "shredded" like LL Cool J

LL Cool J, American rapper, actor and author, is making the media rounds promoting his new book,
LL Cool J's Platinum 360 Diet and Lifestyle: A Full-Circle Guide to Developing Your Mind, Body, and Soul, sharing tips on staying physically and mentally fit.

On May 13, LL Cool J stopped by The View, an American talk show, and bench- pressed three of the show's hosts and highlighted how positive thinking and a low-to-no carbohydrate diet keeps him "shredded" at age 42.

Very different from actress Jennifer Aniston's baby food cleanse, LL lays off carbohydrates Monday-Friday and on Saturday enjoys one meal with carbohydrates and, like Lady Gaga's regime, indulges on Sundays with carbs or whatever he likes.

If LL's approach is not for you, try getting fit simply by walking with iVillage’s WalkOn RockOn Community Challenge. The challenge encourages people everywhere to get fit simply by walking to good tunes daily.

Starting on May 17, walking guru Leslie Sansone will be sending participants of iVillage's WalkOn RockOn Community Challenge four weeks' worth of free daily walking assignments and music suggestions.

For more information on LL Cool J's diet and lifestyle tips and how to drop 20lbs (9kg) in four weeks, get the book ($29.99/€24.20): http://www.rodalestore.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10002&storeId=10051&productId=197784&langId=-1&nav_wt=search
