Blood type helps determine a person's risk of heart disease, a study by the Harvard School of Public Health has found.
People from groups A, B and AB are more at risk than those with the most common type, O. Those with the rarest group, AB – about 4 per cent of people in the UK – are 23 per cent more likely to suffer heart disease.
