The third International Conference on eHealth, Telemedicine, and Social Medicine gathers experts in the burgeoning field of telemedicine, which includes software and devices, telemedicine equipment, eHealth telecommunication services, wireless data communications, data records, and information processing, among many other tracks. This year will also feature new trends in travel telemedicine, including monitoring of travelers' health and self-health care while on the go. Academics can attend for €565 for Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) members/€615 for nonmembers. Industry professionals attend for €765 for IEEE members/€815 for nonmembers.

100th International Women's Day

This year marks the 100th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8), a global day celebrating the economic, political, and social achievements of women past, present, and future. In some countries, such as China, Russia, Vietnam and Bulgaria, it is a national holiday. Almost 350 events will be held around the world to mark the occasion, including talks, discussions, exhibitions, workshops and a range of local events. To celebrate, CARE USA, a humanitarian organization that fights global poverty, will host the CARE Conference & International Women's Day Celebration, March 8-10, in Washington, DC. The event will feature keynote speakers Melinda Gates, Laura Bush, and Judy Woodruff and panel discussions led by issue experts from around the world. 31st Natural Products Expo West

Now in its 31st year, the Natural Products Expo West is one of the largest natural, organic and healthy products trade shows and conventions in the world, alongside Vivaness, with more than 55,000 industry professionals attending last year's event. More than 3,000 exhibits from over 1,900 different companies showcase the newest products in natural and specialty foods, organic, health and beauty, natural living, supplements and pet products.
