A Day That Shook The World: D-Day landings

On 6 June 1944, the Allies launched one of the biggest and most decisive military operations in history - D-Day.

Allied land, sea and air forces combined to land on the coast of France and launch the campaign which would eventually see the defeat of Adolf Hitler a year later.
