In our feature Free London on 6 September, we reported that the Hare Krishna Restaurant at 9 Soho Street, W1 gives away food. We would like to point out that the restaurant, properly called Govinda's Pure Vegetarian Restaurant, runs a free soup kitchen for the homeless. For general customers it offers all you can eat for pounds 2.99. Open 11.30 am-7.30pm Mon-Sat. The Radha-Krishna Temple, at 10 Soho Street, holds an introduction programme, 1pm, Mon-Sat; 3pm Sun, which is free for first-timers and where refreshments are served.
