In Thing: Classic Midway Jockey shorts

Woody Harrelson may well have reason to smirk, judging by the size of what he's got lurking down his Calvin's.

But real men, we feel, owners of lesser organs, should stick to more classic knickers when looking for brand-name appeal. Namely Jockey.

Their homely Y-fronts were ignored by Eighties man in favour of Yuppie boxer shorts. Why? They crumple up at the leg and are Sloaney.

Now Jockey shorts are back in style, particularly the thigh-hugging Classic Midway.

These are fluffy white cotton bloomers which hug taut muscular bums and tight washboard tums. We hope.

Jockey Classic Midway cost pounds 6.99 at all good department stores.
