In Thing: Guy Newson mirror

If you crave the currently popular ceramic mirrors, but find them rather pricey, then nip down to Soho for a cut-price plaster of Paris bargain. Fashion designer Guy Newson originally used the mirrors to decorate his shop Passion. but finds that they are now one of his best sellers. In fact, Saatchi and Saatchi have just bought a whole heap of them to adorn the walls of their officies. Eric Clapton and Kiri Ti Kenawa have also been known to wave their respective credit cards around in there. The mirrors are mainly of a fishy or celestial nature and come in a variety of shapes and guises. Retail prices begin at pounds 17.00.

Passion, 16-17 St Anne's Court, W1. Tel: 071 734 0939. Mon-Sat: 10.00am-6.30pm. (Photograph omitted)
