In Thing: Thierry Mugler's Angel

With ingredients like honey, vanilla, caramel and chocolate, Thierry Mugler's Angel sounds more like an ice cream sundae than a perfume. But since its French launch last year, London's fashion crowd - always looking for a new way to have chocolate without the calories - has been flocking to Paris in droves to get their hands on one of the star-shaped bottles and damn the cost: pounds 90 per 75ml bottle.

Angel is coming to Harrod's in mid-June. Until then, if you're determined to smell like a bar of Dairy Milk, try Annick Goutal's Eau de Charlotte (chocolate, cassis and mimosa).

Angel will be at Harrod's, Knightsbridge SW1 (071-730 1234)
