Letter: I hate ironing - does that mean that I'm a man?

THIS MAN'S been ironing for years - my current favourite is a Dutch- made banana-coloured steam iron, combined with a perforated ironing board (to allow the steam to escape). The sight of those crumpled little pink triangles hidden in the inner recesses of a white shirt (how many women know about those?) coming back to life is an aesthetic pleasure that no self-respecting man should deny himself - all that talk about brain wiring notwithstanding. And don't let anyone come up with "it's the exception that proves the rule".
