A lack of romance on Valentine’s Day can lead to heartbreak, but that’s not the only thing that can stop your heart in its tracks. February is National Heart Month, and it’s your chance to take a stand against the UK’s biggest killer. You may be surprised to learn that every year, heart and circulatory disease accounts for more than a third of all deaths. This year Colgate is supporting the British Heart Foundation (BHF) Red for Heart campaign by donating 10p for every one of their products purchased at Boots from 27th January until 23rd February. By getting involved in the campaign you can help generate up to £100,000 in donations for the BHF.

There’s nothing more important than your health and yet it’s something that many people take for granted. That’s especially true when it comes to your oral health. Healthy teeth and gums are an essential part of your overall well being, so as well as maintaining a healthy weight, moderating your alcohol intake, exercising and not smoking, take time to consider oral health as part of your overall health regime.

For more ways to go Red for Heart and get your free fundraising kit for National Wear Red Day on Friday 26 February visit bhf.org.uk/colgate or colgate.co.uk .
