Rolls-Royce upgrades the Ghost

You might think that a Rolls-Royce is the car that has everything, but the company has still managed to make a few improvements to the Ghost for the 2013 model year.

Inside, upgraded leather and wood veneers provide the perfect environment in which to enjoy the improved sound system, which includes a better amplifier and extra “exciter” speakers set into the leather headlining – they have the effect of raising the systems “centre of sound” so that it is closer to the ear of passengers.

The 2013 Ghost also gets Comfort Access, which allows the boot-lid to be opened with a wave of a foot provided the key is present and with a certain range – although a few more mundane models such as the Volkswagen CC already offer this convenience.

There's a new forged alloy wheel choice, and Rolls says that there are 44,000 exterior paint options.
