Rolls-Royce announced the opening of its largest showroom in the world March 28, in the Middle Eastern emirate of Abu Dhabi.
The state-of-the-art facility, which measures 900 square meters and houses five Rolls-Royce models, is intended to push the luxury brand further into the Middle East, now one of the automaker's primary targets.
Speaking at the launch, Rolls-Royce boss Torsten Müller-Ötvös said that the Middle East contributes over 15 percent of the company's global sales, adding that Abu Dhabi was demonstrating "remarkable" year-on-year growth.
Visitors to the showroom can see a selection of ultra-luxury Rolls-Royce models, order from a coffee bar and visit the customer configuration lounge to personalize their new model.
For owners, there is also a dedicated service facility.
Rolls-Royce now has eight dealerships in the Middle East, a luxury-loving region which is proving a popular destination for prestigious car brands from around the world.
Last year, Bentley, which has nine dealerships in the Middle East, revealed that the region contributed ten percent of its retail sales globally, a figure that has doubled in the last five years.
In recognition of the importance of the market, it debuted two special edition Bentley Continental models, dubbed Flying Spur Arabia and Flying Spur Speed Arabia, with features specifically commissioned for Arabic customers.
