Cars with six-figure sticker prices fill out the list of the world's least fuel-efficient cars, according to the 2010 Fuel Economy Guide released October 15 by the US Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Energy.
The more you pay the less you get, at least when it comes to fuel efficiency. All of these cars represent the crème de la crème of the automotive world and the scourge of the tree-hugging world.
It's likely that if you can afford the least fuel-efficient car on the market, the Lamborghini Murcielago (base price: €237,000) you aren't spending too much time worrying about any upcoming rise in fuel prices.
If you get as much pleasure from driving a Toyota Prius as you do a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti (base price: €210,000), you probably won't be found in the fast lane too often.
And if Mother Nature means more to you than €366,000, the starting price for a luxurious Maybach 57, your accountant is probably just as pleased.
Also found among the pricier gas guzzlers, the Infiniti EX35 crossover SUV comes in at €25,000.
