Weekly auto agenda: Kiev International Motor Show

Kiev welcomes the world for its motorshow this weekend, which displays automotive brands from both the east and the west of Europe and opens to the public May 28. June 1 sees the unveiling of the 17th BMW Art Car before it leaves to compete in the Le Mans endurance race.
Kiev International Motor Show
Brands from Eastern Europe will line up next to those from the West at this year's Kiev Motor Show, with Mercedes-Benz, Chevrolet, Geely, Groz, Opel, KIA, Chery, Lada, Zaz, Bogdan, Hyundai, SsangYong and Subaru all confirmed to be in attendance. The show is open to the public from May 28.
Premiere of 17th BMW Art Car

Following in the footsteps of Calder, Stella, Lichtenstein, Warhol and Holzer, American artist Jeff Koons will present his "Art Car" to the media and public at Paris's Centre Pompidou museum of modern art. Koons will sign the car before it sets off to race in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the world's oldest endurance car race, on June 12.

The 78th Le Mans 24-hour endurance race will see competitors from Peugeot, Audi, Aston Martin, BMW, Corvette, Ferrari, Porsche, Lamborghini, Ford and Jaguar join the prestigious rally, the world's oldest.
