The climax of Monterey Auto Week, the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance is one of the biggest events in the classic car calendar. Dating from 1950, it includes 175 vehicles displayed on the legendary 18th fairway of the Pebble Beach golf course.

The world's largest gathering of smart fans celebrates its 10th anniversary this year and is expected to welcome several thousand attendees from all over Europe. Woodward Dream Cruise Motor Parade
The Woodward Dream Cruise is the world’s largest one-day celebration of car culture, attracting more than 1 million visitors and over 40,000 muscle cars, street rods, custom, collector and special interest vehicles. The parade passes through eight communities in Michigan.
Moscow Auto Salon

Organized by the Russian car industry and sanctioned by the OICA (The International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers), the third edition of the Moscow Auto Salon is expected to host several high-profile debuts from Russian and international manufacturers. Over 80 brands will be in attendance, with more than 600 cars on display.
Nitra Motor Show
Over 150 exhibitors are expected at the OICA-sanctioned Nitra Motor Show, now in its 19th year. Personal cars, parts and accessories are expected to be on display, along with concept cars from the major manufacturers and test-drive opportunities for the general public.

Thousands of sellers are expected to attend the International AutoJumble, the largest car garage sale in Europe. Among the hordes of people on the lookout for cheap parts, accessories and even cars, look out for the Best Stand award and the Restoration Village.
Hanover International Motorshow
Although primarily an event for the commercial car sector, the Hanover Motor Show is seen as something of a bellwether for the auto industry. Look out for a surge of electric vehicles at the event as companies look to take advantage of the newly available technologies to "green" their fleets - and their image.
Paris Motor Show

The Mondial de l'automobile ranks with Geneva and Detroit as among the biggest shows of the year, with new products expected to debut from European brands such as Opel, Peugeot, Mercedes-Benz and Bentley. Expect a swathe of concept cars and a focus on electric vehicles courtesy of the French government, which sponsors the "Ecomobility" display.
