See the UK premiere of The Suit for just £15
The ultimate betrayal. The cruellest revenge. A hauntingly beautiful musical play.
Tuesday 08 May 2012
Following huge critical acclaim in Paris, Peter Brook and Marie-Hélène Estienne bring a company of international actors, singers and musicians to London’s Young Vic to recreate Can Themba’s hauntingly beautiful story.
In the dusty heat of 1950s South Africa, Philemon comes home to find his wife in bed with another man. The lover escapes, leaving behind his suit. In revenge, Phil tells Matilda she must treat the suit as an honoured guest. But how long can they both endure this heartless punishment?
Young Vic, 66 The Cut, Waterloo, London, SE1 8LZ.
