Ready to Wear:
Blue and pink, pink and blue. What lovely colours. That's the good news. The bad news it that these are the colours that will be big, huge, happening and trendy - and other dreadful inferiority complex inducing words - this spring. But fear not sensible people and don't anyone get in a flap about it like so many of you did with chocolate brown. Hand on heart, I can't recommend anyone wearing a whole pink or blue suit (although a dress in these colours is fine) unless you are very young or going to a wedding. You will look stupid and young children will quite rightly point at you. But you can cock your hat to these new colours to great effect by mixing them with your usual wardrobe - you can enliven a dark suit with a pink satin shirt, wear a cashmere sweater in either colour with white jeans, that sort of thing. The spectrum is wide, so pick the shade that suits you, and keep tights natural for a fresher look.
