Appointed reps on SIB register

THE SECURITIES and Investments Board is adding the names of 10,000 appointed representatives to its central register used by the public to check on the authorisation status of firms.

Appointed representatives are financial representatives who trade in their own name but who are acting as agents of authorised firms.
