Money Briefly: Holiday bookings bring refunds

GIROBANK is offering its Visa and current account holders a money-back offer on holidays booked through its telephone travel agency, Travel Connection. For every pounds 13 spent on the holiday, pounds 1 will be refunded in the form of a cheque sent with the tickets about 10 days before departure. The money-back offer covers total holiday costs, including extras like insurance, car hire and surcharges. Travel Connection is open from 9am to 7 pm on weekdays and until 5 pm on Saturdays.
