Single parents 'face hardship'

THE CHILD Poverty Action Group is predicting widespread and increased financial hardship for Britain's 1.3 million single parent families after the enactment of the new Child Support Act. The Child Support Handbook is designed to be a practical guide for parents and advisers.

The Inland Revenue's guide, Separation, Divorce & Maintenance Payments, has been updated to take account of the Child Support Act and other recent developments.
