Bargain Hunter: Very's low prices
Saturday 28 August 2010
Latest in Spend & Save
Very has up to 60 per cent off clothing, jewellery and footwear on its website, as part of the much-hyped "End of Summer" sale. Top-selling items in the sale so far include a Henleys utility bag – down from £20 to £14 – a pair of Goodsouls slouchy beanie hats – down from £12 to £8 – and a Pineapple beach towel, reduced from £10 to just £6. Visit http://ind.pn/cK5oxH for the full range.
Half-price Crocs
Crocs is also in the middle of a massive sale at the moment, with up to 50 per cent off all shoes online. There's a huge range of footwear on offer, taking in everything from flip flops to stilettos, from biker boots to slippers. The sale runs until Sunday 12 September and can be found at http://ind.pn/dybQCp .
Debenhams discounts
It seems as if Debenhams is perpetually hosting a sale these days and this week certainly doesn't buck the trend. However, with up to 70 per cent off some items, Debenhams' latest "Final Clearance" sale is still well worth a mention. Popular sale items thus far include a men's Raging Bull black 'Scrum' print T-shirt – down from £25 to £12.50 – a woman's pink Puma USP tank top – reduced from £15 to £7.50 – and a pair of Craghoppers insect-repellent socks – down from £12 to just £6. Visit Debenhams.com/sale for more discounted items.
Free meal for students
This week's top printable voucher discount is a free three-course meal for students at Caffe Uno. Simply visit http://ind.pn/aNkt5q , fill in and print the coupon and present it at the restaurant to take advantage. As always, it's not quite as easy as it seems, as the voucher can be used only if someone else at your table is paying for a full meal. Nor is it valid on bank holiday Monday.
