Prem Sikka's battle to win direct elections for the presidency of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants is hotting up, with claims and counter-claims from both sides.
The association says the professor's case is based on "a fundamental
misunderstanding of the ACCA president's role", while Professor Sikka says he and his fellow "reformers" are the victims of "negative tactics" ahead of the extraordinary general meeting due to discuss the issue on 9 September.
