Culinary clearout

Catering equipment retailer Nisbets has a huge sale on at the moment, with more than £3m of savings in its warehouse clearout. There are reductions on everything from chopping boards to chef's jackets and knives, including items from Global, Victorinox, Wusthof Trident and Deglon Sabatier. Triple-points weekend

This weekend, Nectar are running a huge triple-points promotion on its reward card. Major retailers taking part include BP, Homebase, Hertz and Ford, although Nectar's best known partner Sainsbury's is not involved. Nectar points are given on all purchases no matter what the total cost, and with 18 million registered cardholders nationwide, it looks set to be a bumper weekend for bargain hunters.
