Trust PEPs soar in value
The value of unit trust PEPs has rocketed more than tenfold since the first quarter of 1990, to pounds 6.5bn by the end of September 1993, according to the Association of Unit Trusts and Investment Funds.
Net investment into PEPs in the first nine months of this year stood at about pounds 2.2bn. UK funds combining income and capital growth were among the most popular.
