Anti-kidnap men abducted
The chief and deputy chief of Mexico City's police anti-kidnapping unit were themselves kidnapped a week ago and are still missing, Mexican news reports said yesterday.
Edmundo Tasinnari, head of the unit, and Humberto Salgado, his deputy, were abducted as they drove on a highway, according to the daily Mediodia and Radio MVS-Multivision. Police chiefs reused to confirm or deny the stories.
