BBC apologises for `Twins' story
THE BBC has apologised for leading dozens of Scots to mistakenly believe they had a long-lost twin. A BBC programme, "The Secret Life of Twins", suggested that birth certificates with an exact time of birth imply a multiple birth. However, Scottish birth certificates always record the precise time of birth, unlike their English equivalents.
