BP's boss of bosses

Sir David Simon, the chairman of British Petroleum, has come from nowhere to be voted Britain's most admired industrialist. In the latest MORI poll of business leaders, published exclusively in the Independent on Sunday, he beat both Richard Branson of Virgin fame and BA's Sir Colin Marshall.
