The leading football management sim is back for yet another season of hair-wrenching action. Using the same successful layout and gameplay of the previous titles, this new edition includes updated teams, competitions, player comparisons, a new transfer system, "fog of war" statistic cloaking, and much more. In short, yet another triumph for the Sports Interactive team.

Hot Wheels Extreme Racing
PlayStation
***
This new driving title puts gamers in an explosive race where only the ruthless survive. The aim is to race on a variety of terrain in anything from a tank to a speedboat, picking up weapons along the way. In many respects, Hot Wheels is an enjoyable title for younger players, but its repetitive theme and sluggish gameplay limits its appeal to experienced gamers.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire: Second Edition
PlayStation
****
The all-conquering quiz title is back to challenge all you couch potatoes. For all intents and purposes, this is almost identical to the first edition – the only changes are improved graphics and sound, as well as all new questions. Simple to play, highly addictive and incredibly irritating, WWTBAM 2nd Edition will have you hooked in no time.

Lotus Challenge
PlayStation 2
**
Lotus Challenge is a racing game that pays tribute to the wonderful British sports car, the Lotus. Gamers are treated to a feast of tyre-burning action in a range of cars, from the very early racers right up to the new Exige. Unfortunately, while the real cars are beautiful and speedy, the game is slow and ugly, from the dull gameplay to the boxy graphics and unrealistic driving.
