Argyll completes sell-off

Argyll Group has completed the tidying up of its business portfolio with the sale of Snowking, a frozen food wholesaler, and Mojo, a cash and carry operation, to Palmer & Harvey McLane. No price was disclosed. Snowking has annual sales of around £50m, while Mojo's turnover is £80m.

Argyll will concentrate on its Safeway and Presto supermarket businesses after the deal.
