WORRIES ABOUT a weak dollar weighed heavily on Wall Street, which suffered further losses on early trading yesterday.

The Dow Jones, which had its third-worst loss for the year on Tuesday, had fallen another 45 points, or 0.43 per cent, to 10,552 by midday.

Analysts said the market was weighed down by concerns about the dollar, uncertainty about interest rates and a slump typical for September and October.
