Baker takes Medeva chair
The drugs company Medeva said John Baker of the generating group National Power would be its new chairman in succession to Bernard Taylor. Mr Baker will be paid pounds 26,000, in line with other non-executive directors. The former chief executive of National Power became its chairman in April, at a salary of pounds 180,000 for a minimum of two days a week.
