BSkyB shares climb to 371p

Shares in BSkyB climbed 7.5p to 371p yesterday, on news that the secondary offering by Pearson of its 8.5 per cent stake in the cable and satellite broadcaster was over-subscribed. Dealers said interest from the US, as well as demand from institutions in the UK, accounted for the buying.
