Cadbury job cuts

CADBURY SCHWEPPES is to shed 300 of the 4,000 jobs through voluntary redundancies at its Bournville chocolate factory in a cost-cutting exercise.

Apple Computer is cutting 450 jobs at its plant in Cork, following a decision to transfer production of the IMAC model to a sub-contractor in South Korea.
