Quadrant Group achieved a sharp turnaround from pounds 12.5m taxable loss to pounds 1m pre-tax profits in the six months to 31 August. Turnover pounds 22.9m ( pounds 28.8m). EPS recovered to 4.35p (LPS 45.47p). No dividend.

John Maunders fell to pounds 3.8m ( pounds 4.2m) pre-tax profit in the year to 30 June. EPS 10.36p (11.52p). Total dividend 5.15p (4.95p).

Half-year to 30 June

Jackson Group recovered to pounds 236,000 pre-tax profit (loss pounds 987,000). EPS 0.7p (LPS 4.6p). Dividend is 0.5p.

Chillington Corporation more than doubled pre-tax profits from pounds 319,000 to pounds 808,000. Turnover grew to pounds 25.1m ( pounds 24m). EPS 2.08p (0.1p). Dividend is 0.75p.

Tudor, the floor and wall tiles company, deepened pre-tax losses from pounds 117,000 to pounds 240,000. LPS 2.2p (1.06p). No dividend.

Exploration Company made pounds 589,000 ( pounds 993,000) pre-tax profit. EPS 4.89p (8.24p). No dividend.

BNB Resources boosted pre-tax profits to pounds 344,000 ( pounds 53,000). EPS 1.1p (0.1p). Dividend is 1.6p (same).

Barlows reduced taxable losses to pounds 202,000 ( pounds 368,000). LPS 1p (1.78p). No dividend (0.825p).

Chepstow Racecourse lifted pre- tax profits to pounds 140,000 ( pounds 97,000). EPS 24p (17.4p). No dividend.
