Computer Cab Co to seek listing on Alternative Investment Market

The Licensed Taxi Drivers' Association said it was considering a listing for its subsidiary, Computer Cab Co, on the Alternative Investment Market.

The cash generated will go towards the pounds 7.5m investment in its new Global Positioning Satellite and to promote the new improved levels of customer service. Computer Cab made a pre-tax profit of pounds 451,158 in the year to September 1995 on turnover of pounds 33.5m and profits for the year to September 1996 should be no less than pounds 500,000 on revenues of pounds 36m.
