Eurotunnel has promised to update its forecast of 1995 results in early October, when it will also report on first-half earnings. "Until then, Eurotunnel's management refuses to comment on figures given by various observers," the company said. La Tribune Des Fosses, a French construction journal, reported that an association of small Eurotunnel shareholders expects the company to report a net loss of around Fr8bn(pounds 1bn) this year, which compares with Eurotunnel's own estimate of Fr4.7bn.
