Power-saving Pentium

Intel, the semiconductor giant, last night introduced a new power-saving Pentium chip for use in portable computers, and several major computer makers simultaneously announced notebook computers to use it. The new chip is a 90MHz Pentium and it will initially be used in new machines to be launched by HP, Dell and Toshiba. But on Wall Street, Intel shares fell $4 to close at $111.87 on profit-taking.
