WATCH BIOTRACE International. Shares of the hygiene-testing group edged ahead 5p to 102.5p after a presentation in London of a new system for continuously testing for contamination in air or water.

One has been sold and 12 are being examined by potential buyers. Chief executive Jim Keir believes the system, called Auto-Track, will be used in a range of industries, including packaging and pharmaceuticals.
