Titon Holdings, the ventilator and window maker, lifted pre-tax profits to pounds 1.9m ( pounds 1.5m) in year to 30 September. Final dividend is 2.57p, making 3.7p (3.25p).

Six months to 30 September

Protean, the water purification equipment maker, has bought Epsom Glass Industries for pounds 2.1m and is funding it with a pounds 2.5m share placing. It also reported a near three-fold increase in pre-tax profits to pounds 1.38m ( pounds 462,000) on a 59.5 per cent rise in turnover to pounds 15.3m. Dividend is 0.9p (0.6p).

Stirling Group, designer and maker of clothing, more than doubled pre-tax profits to pounds 1.4m ( pounds 581,000), helped by a sharp rise in turnover to pounds 45.6m ( pounds 26.1m). Interim dividend is held at 0.5p.

Airsprung Furniture, the furniture maker, lifted pre-tax profits to pounds 2.3m ( pounds 1.7m). Interim dividend is raised to 3.15p (2.63p).

John Tams Group, maker of tea and coffee mugs and general tableware in earthenware and fine bone china, advanced to pounds 379,000 ( pounds 362,000) pre-tax profit. Dividend is held at 1.59p.
