A Chinese newspaper has described Britain as "merely a country of old Europe with a few decent football teams" that is "easily replaceable".
The controversial editorial in The Global Times comes as David Cameron continues his trade mission in the country. Earlier, the Prime Minister suggested he would welcome China's investment in the controversial HS2 rail project.
Unfortunately, the Chinese seem to think we're a fallen nation only "suitable for tourism, overseas study and football".
