CPC pays £35m for Siddons House

CPC Group, owned by Christian Candy, pictured, has snapped up part of British Land's former HQ close to Regent's Park in London for about £35m. CPC has bought Siddons House from developer Oakmayne Properties and will rent it to wealthy clients.

It is thought there has already been an approach to rent the luxury house for £400,000 for the duration of the Olympic Games this summer. The home is part of a row of Georgian mansions that Oakmayne has redeveloped on the upmarket crescent overlooking the park.

The street was dubbed the world's most expensive row of terraced houses when last year an unnamed Ukrainian oligarch paid more than £32m for one of the mansions.
