Deutsche Bank fund looks for new partner to bid for Gatwick

Deutsche Bank’s real estate and infrastructure fund RREEF remains interested in bidding for Gatwick airport despite its consortium partner Babcock & Brown dropping out and is looking for a new partner to mount an offer, said a person familiar with the matter. With 3i having also withdrawn from a consortium, its former partners Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan and Canada Pension Plan also want a new partner to bid for the airport BAA wants to sell for as much as £2bn.
