Health and sports club operator David Lloyd Leisure is to spend £2.5m expanding its chain of sites aimed specifically at children.
The company launched the first of its DL Kids clubs in south-west London in January last year, and has since followed the pilot with a second site in Leeds.
Now the company plans to roll out the concept at a range of further sites across the UK and Europe.
The first stage of the expansion will see new openings in Finchley, north London and Beckenham, in Kent before the end of the year.
Scott Lloyd, the chief executive of David Lloyd Leisure, said the sites would "provide children with the opportunity to get active, focusing on education and fun participation".
The clubs are designed to offer both sporting and educational programmes for children, he added.
