Shoe Studio, the former Baugur-backed footwear group, has been bought out of administration by the shoe chain Dune.

Deloitte, the administrator, said the sale includes Shoe Studio Group's six brands including Pied a Terre, Bertie, Nine West and Roberto Vianni, as well as more than 300 department store concessions. The sale safeguards 1,570 jobs at the outlets and 90 posts at the head office. However, Deloitte said that it could not sell the remaining 11 standalone stores and 90 jobs will be lost.
